Hello, I'm Sarah and I'm a Women's Mid-life Nutrition Coach...

But the bigger picture is VITALITY
Just saying that word excites me.
Because when you think about it…
It’s everything.
It’s how you feel in your body; it’s your sense of sparkle.
How you show up in your life.
How much you can say yes to — without feeling wiped out.
Vitality isn’t vague.
It might look slightly different for each of us…
but crucially, it’s something you can feel — and something you can build.
This is what led me here
My vitality shows up best in my capacity to be able to do what I love - being outdoors, moving my body, balancing work with midlife demands, and still having the energy to be present when my kids come home.
(Not always, but I do my best!)
But that wasn’t always my experience.
Vitality doesn’t disappear at once. It fades quietly.
As life fills up - with responsibility, work, family, mental load - it becomes very easy to put yourself further and further down the list.
And often, without even noticing, the foundations begin to slip.
I saw this in myself.
And now I see it in the women I work with — although that part came almost by accident.
Many come to me wanting help with weight.
But what they actually experience, when food starts working for them again, goes far beyond a number on the scales.
What I saw and experienced was that food was sitting at the centre of it all.
Not as something to control, but as something to either support… or quietly working against us.
But midlife brings a complication.
Because the way we’ve been taught to think about food —
often shaped in our 20s and 30s —
no longer matches what our body actually needs.
So we double down.
Try harder.
Tighten things up.
And feel increasingly out of sync with ourselves.
With a background in biochemistry and years of teaching science, I went looking for answers.
I wanted to understand what was actually happening —
not just follow advice that no longer made sense or be duped by social media hacks.
So I immersed myself in the science behind:
metabolic health, blood sugar, muscle and ageing, hormones, the microbiome, and the modern food environment.
Not to complicate things further —
but to make sense of them.
But what became clear was this:
We were never failing.
We’ve simply been given a model that doesn’t fit this stage of life.
I remember a conversation with another mum who said to me:
“I just want someone to do the research for me…
and show me what I should be doing.”
And I thought — yes. Exactly that.
Because the information is out there.
But it’s overwhelming, conflicting, and hard to apply to real life.
I take what is complex…
and make it simple, clear and usable in your real life.
This is the work that became the Everyday Vitality Method.
Not a set of rigid instructions —
but a way of supporting your body so it can support you.
What I care about isn’t perfect eating.
It’s helping you build a level of energy and capability
that allows you to live your life fully —
in a way that feels sustainable, steady, and yours.
Because when that foundation is in place…
You think more clearly.
You feel more resilient.
You move through life differently.
And you start to recognise yourself again —
not as you were before, but as you are now, with everything you’re carrying.
And this really matters.
Because midlife isn’t a winding down.
It’s a point of expansion —
if your body is supported in the right way.
